Port of Blyth 10K

A 10K chip-timed Race club and u/a runners held under uk:athletics laws. (Minimum age 16 years on day of Race)

Course measurement certificate 19/608. Licence No. pending.

The race is run from Blyth Quayside to Seaton Sluice and back, along public footpaths and cycle ways. The course is officially ratified; it’s very flat and provides an excellent chance of fast times. Ample parking near the start (please follow signs and marshals instructions).

Athletes compete in individual age categories. For example a Male over 50 will not qualify for over 40 and over 45 category awards.

START & FINISH
Quay Road, Quayside, Blyth. NE24 3AR.

ROUTE
Fast and flat on footpath, promenade and cycle ways from Blyth Quayside to Seaton Sluice and return.
Not suitable for unassisted wheelchairs.

CHANGING
No changing facilities at race HQ in Blyth Community Enterprise Centre.

PARKING
Ample parking near to start. Please follow signs and marshals instructions.

AWARDS
Individual male (1 to 8), female (1 to 8) and vet prizes plus 1st male and female teams. Race memento for all finishers. Bonus prize for new Male and Female course record.

NO HEADPHONES
No headphones will be allowed for your own safety. NON COMPLIANCE will risk disqualification.
