Welcome to Blyth Running Club

Formed soon after the first Great North Run in 1982, and affiliated to the then AAA in December 1983, we are based in the UK near Newcastle, in south-east Northumberland at Blyth Sports Centre. Our members (over 200) are primarily involved with Road Running at all distances up to full Marathons, although some members do take part in the occasional fell or track race. We also send teams to various Cross-country events.

Beginner to running? Or returning from injury? Blyth Running Club is here to help.
