Grand Prix Race 3 – Thirsk 10M (10k-10M Category)

Well, done to everyone who ran Thirsk yesterday a lovely run that was undulating in places and throughout seemed to always have an incline.
 
First home for Blyth was Michael Stott closely followed by Simon Clough with another strong run and PB taking maximum points in divison 3, John Younger chased him down and was the 3rd blyth runner home taking maximum points for division 2. 
Division 4 saw Katie Donaldson put in another strong run and take maximum points for the division and was fastest lady on the day closely followed by division 3 runner Heather Christopher. 
In division 5 Steve Leggett continued his dominance with a strong run and was closely followed home by division 4 runner Nikki Courtney. Another strong run also from Alison Jane French in division 5 who’s going from strength to strength after her operation supported with pacing from Steven Grant French. 
Division 7 saw Richard Iain Robinson take the points to move joint top in that division.
 
Next up is the Sunderland HM in May after which a review of all divisions will take place. The Committee will advise of any moves to ensure competition remains competitive for all.
