The third match in the NEGP, held on Wednesday 14th June, was a warm one, with many of our track athletes pulling out some brilliant performances. A number of our juniors took part in many events and totally held their own especially when lining up next to the senior athletes!
Ellis Hetherington made his track debut for the 1 mile event and pulled out a rather impressive time of 4:28:31. George Bryce also stormed down the track in his heat to gain a pb of 5:31:45. Huge well done to both Sofia Dialling and Benjamin Crompton who achieved personal bests in the 100m with 15:14secs and 13:37secs respectively. What a race Ben had with our senior athlete Lauren Barrett. Another brilliant performance by Niamh Adams as she achieved 46:32 secs in her 300m to earn another pb.
Next up are the senior achievements with an incredible 100m pb for Andy Pattison achieving 12:98! We celebrated Helen Bell’s track debut as she achieved 14:31 in her 100m. Finally, Kandis Watson achieved a 400m personal best with 1:04:81. Huge well done to Team Blyth! Keep up the brilliant hard work ready for the next match on July 12th.
