Fifty
two runners turned out on a cool blustery night for the second race of the
Winter Series, down by eleven from race 1. First
away was Louise Douglas who led from start to finish to win by 8 seconds from
a fast finishing Andrew Grieves who was a further 13 seconds in front of
third placed Emma Freeman. It was then
fast and furious as the next 38 runners finished within a minute of each
other. The
team winners from race 1, "Hot Tottie"
won again, with "Lydia's Lads" second and "Ay Up Me Duck"
third. Jake
Jansen was again the fastest finisher with 13:47, Heather Christopher was
fastest lady with 16:24. Many thanks
