Northumberland Schools X-C 2014

The Northumberland Schools Cross Country Champs were held at Temple Park, South Shields on Tuesday 21st Jan. The competitors in each age group were racing to finish in the first 16 in order to be selected to run for Northumberland Schools at the Inter Counties event at Meadowfield, Durham on the 1st of February. A number of Blyth Juniors took part in the event, and a big well done to them all. Qualifying to run for Northumberland were Joseph Woods, Chris Sheffer and Joey Orange in the senior boys; Josh Fiddaman in the minor boys; Taylor Glover and Connor Marshall in the junior boys; James Young in the intermediate boys and Emma James in the intermediate girls.
