NE Masters Track & Field Meetings 2014

Saturday 28th June- Monkton Stadium, Jarrow.

The NEMAA Track and Field Championships were held on 28th June 2014 at Monkton Stadium, Jarrow.

Blyth Masters track and field athletes were in action and bagged a total of 16 medals between them.

Sharon Richardson-(Hammer, Shot, discus and Javelin)

Helen Morris-(1500m, 800m, 3000m)

Dave Swalwell- (100m, 200m,javelin,discus, shot)

Jon French- (400m, 800m, 1500m, 5000m)

Martin Scott-( 800m, 5000m)

Medals were awarded for the first 3 in each veteran age category.

Sharon won gold for discus and hammer and also achieved a "Championship Record" of 23.80 for L50 in the hammer.

Dave won gold in all his events.
