NECAA Indoor T&F Champs

Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th February saw the North East Counties Athletics Association Indoor Track and Field Championships at Gateshead Indoor Stadium. Daniel N'Jai was the sole Blyth competitor on the Saturday and he came away with two bronze medals, clearing 5.07m in the long jump and 11.47m (a new pb) in the triple jump.

On the Sunday, Dave Swalwell competed in the Veteran Mens 60m and won the Gold Medal for the VM40 in a time of 7.68s, Alice Dungworth recorded a pb of 8.30s in winning the bronze medal in the U17W 60m and Charlotte Ramsay was just outside the medals in 5th place in the U20W 60m.

Dave Swalwell, Bethan Sproat, Alice Dungworth, Steve Walker and Keith Willshire all helped/officiated in some capacity over the weekend.
