Northumberland Schools X-C 2013

After two postponements due to the recent snowy weather the Northumberland Schools Cross Country Champs were finally held at Temple Park, South Shields on Tuesday 29th Jan. The competitors in each age group were racing to finish in the first 16 in order to be selected to run for Northumberland Schools at the Inter Counties event at Guisborough, Cleveland on the 9th of February. A total of 16 Blyth Juniors took part in the event and qualifying to run for Northumberland were Jake Jansen and Calum Storey, 8th and 15th in the senior boys; Charlie Hedley, 3rd in the intermediate girls and Taylor Glover, 6th in the minor boys.
