Club Records Broken

Over the past 2 weeks the juniors have been busy competing in various Track & Field meetings and in the process have rewrote the club records. Chris Lillico has been improving the 400m record each time he has run lately, culminating in a time of 52.3 sec at the Young Athletics meeting at York, where he also, in his first real attempt at the Long Jump, improved Craig's record by over 30cm so that it now stands at 5.97m. At the same meeting Bethan Sproat equalled the ladies High Jump record with a clearance of 1.48m, and Charlotte Ramsey lowered the ladies 200m mark to 27.6 sec.

The previous week at the Inter Counties Schools Champs at Gateshead Stadium, Rebecca Nail improved her own Ladies Triple Jump record to 9.86m.
