Tynedale 10k

[Thu 8th Jul 2010] The 5th race of the clubs Grand Prix series of 2010 saw 35 Blyth members descend on the village of Ovingham together with 500 plus other runners for the Tyndedale Pie and Peas 10k hosted by Tynedale Harriers. With hot, humid conditions and with the course protected from the wind, the runners were very grateful for the water station at the half way point.

First back for Blyth was Robbie in 14th overall with a time of 35:38, followed closely by Peter with 35:55 in 17th place. First lady back was Susanne Hunter, 144th overall in 44:05, followed by Heather Christopher in 179th with 45:07.

Congratulations to Dave Cox who's time of 42:37 for 101st position was good enough to secure first place in his M60 age category, and to Susanne who was third F40 with her time of 44:05.
