Darlington
10k
[Sun 8th Aug 2010]
One hours drive from Ashington, this 10 km race is a good one to consider. The event has ample free parking, chip timing
and a fast if slightly lumpy course.
A
two lap route around Darlington town centre and suburbs, well marshalled,
traffic free, good vocal local support and with two water stations it’s a race
that appeals to those at the sharp end or indeed the rest of us!
Today
was quite warm and a good turnout was in evidence. Blyth was represented by Ash Henderson,
Gareth Hope, Alison Lowes and Myself.
Free
sports massage was available at the end with companies such as Up and Running
advertising their services as well. T
shirt and water to all finishers.
