Ash at the Hoppings

[Mon 28th Jun 2010] I had quiet weekend. I only ran the 5K park run on Saturday morning; I won in the time of 16:36 little disappointing would have liked to have seen a little progression in my PB for the event. But when running thru the centre of the hoppings for 400m I did have a dog chase me and it was trying to bite me which did not help straight line speed and concentration in a race. But funny to watch for the lead bike, a runner trying to avoid a dog by shouts for it to go away (but not in those words at the time!!!!) and using his foot as I ran to fend the dog away. Where was Barbra Woodhouse when you need her!!!!!!!!!!!!! Luckily I made it through the hoppings in one piece with one K to go
