VAANE Track & Field Championships

[Thu 25th Jun 2009] Kevin and Helen both competed in the VAANE Track and Field Championships at Monkton Stadium, Jarrow on Sat 20th June. In warm, sunny and wet conditions, Helen won her 3000m event in a time of 12:16 (equivalent to 6:34 min/mile). Kevin coming back from injury) was pleased with his 7th position – and first O50 in the 5000m with a time of 20:02 (6:26 min/mile).
