Newburn River Run

[Thu 18th Jun 2009] Fourteen Blyth runners took part in this race on Wednesday 17th June, first back for Blyth in a very creditable 6th place was Paul Whalley with a time of 37:04. After Paul came Martin Gaughan (28th overall and 3rd O50 in 40:18); Gareth Hope (61st;43:46), Mal Darbyshire (65th;44:05), Leanne Herron (67th, 4th senior female, 44:10), Terry McCabe (83rd;45:07), Joe Frazer (91st, 2nd O60, 45:38), Cath Young (134th, 2nd female O50, 48:30), Ralph Dickinson (136th, 48:40), Terry Jones (155th, 49:29), Dave Roberts (160th, 49:56), Julie Lemin (200th, 53:27), Davina Lonsdale (212th, 54:31), and L Dean (236th, 57:38). There were a total of 285 finishers.
