London marathon

[Mon 27th Apr 2009] Four Blyth runners made the trip down to London for the marathon on Sunday 26th April. In sunny conditions, which were much hotter than had been predicted, Gary Jones had a great run, knocking over 2 mins of his pb to finish in 2:41:50. Steve Walker came home in 3:17:52, Dave Bradley in 4:06:52 and Steve Bush, tackling the marathon distance for the first time, recorded 4:38:15.
