Les Allcorn 10k & 3k Fun Run

[Mon 18th May 2009] Five Blyth runners took part in the Les Allcorn 10k, run in the beautiful surroundings of Hulne Park, Alnwick, on Tue 12th May. First back for Blyth was Craig Birch in 12th position with a time of 38:23. Craig was followed home by Adam Smith (15th;39:42), Keith Willshire (60th;46:21), Cath Young (66th;46:53), and Ralph Dickinson (69th;47:47). In the 3k fun run, Kirstie Johnson was the first girl back (11th;13:38) with Emma Freeman (15th;13:57) third girl back (they were first and second under 17 girls). Daniel Tait was 46th in 15:56, and Helen Morris who decided the 10k route was much too far finished 21st in 14:30. There were over 100 finishers in the fun run.
