Great Cumbrian Run

[Mon 26th Oct 2009] Eight members of Blyth travelled to Carlisle on Sunday 25^th Oct to take part in the Great Cumbrian Run. In blustery conditions first back for Blyth was Paul Whalley with a time of 1:25:25 for 40^th place overall. Paul was followed home by Terry McCabe (1:35:59;163^rd), Mal Darbyshire (1:36:08;166^th), Joe Frazer (1:36:11;168^th), Leanne Herron (1:38:07;198^th), Cath Young (1:42:28;287^th), Ralph Dickinson (1:48:38;481^st) and Phillippa Baxter (1:55:42;698^th). It should be noted that these are the ‘gun times’ for the official finishing positions, all the ‘chip times’ were faster than those quoted above.
