Race 7 - James Herriot Trail Race (14k) – Sun 28th July
2013
Congratulations to all those who completed the James
Herriot Trail Race on Sunday 28th July which was the seventh race of this
year's Grand Prix competition. After a
couple of very dry weeks the heavy overnight rain had made the course wet in
places with a few large puddles and a swollen stream to navigate. Although only just under 9 mile, the hilly
course together with the strong head wind along the high section maked fast times an impossibility.
Heather
Christopher who was third lady overall and Lindsey Chapman first O35 woman -
well done ladies.
