An excellent
turn out of 62 runners for the first race in this season's new format Winter
Series (5 races instead of 7, with an individuals
best 4 results counting). The first coveted yellow t-shirt was convincingly
by Ron Ingram, who had a 30 second advantage over second placed Taylor Glover
and third placed John Mallon, both recording the same time. First
team, ably led by Mr Ingram, was "R n R" with 51 points, with
"McCabes Mafia" second on 82 points. Fastest
finisher was Jake in a time of 13:21, Jude Nutt was fastest lady with 16:16. Many
thanks to the two Daves, The Handicapper (Stig) and all the helpers on the night. Next
race Wednesday 17th December. |
