An Audience With Peter Stanley

Northumberland Athletics Network presents "An audience with Peter Stanley: National Coach Mentor - Triple Jump; and Leading Officials Bill and Christine Courtney" on 25th May 2012, 6:45 - 9:30pm at Concordia Leisure Centre, Cramlington.

The event is free and includes a finger buffet.

About Peter Stanley

Peter Stanley is one of the best athletics jumps coach in the North East.

He guided Jonathan Edwards, the triple jumper world record holder who became one of only four athletes to hold Olympic, World, European & Commonwealth titles - all at the same time.

He has also coached a number of other athletes at International level including Chris Tomlinson, World Indoor Silver Medalist and Jadel Gergorio (Brazil), World Silver Medal Indoor & Outdoor.

His current group includes JJ Jegede, Nadia Williams, Yasmin Regis, and Lisa Ferguson - athletes most likely to appear at the London Olympics 2012.

Peter's stable of athletes speaks volumes about Peter's Coaching ability, and it is your chance to hear first-hand from Peter and some of his athletes' which include some Olympic 2012 hopefuls.

Bill and Christine are well known to most of the athletes in the Region as  two of the leading starter/marksman in the Region. They will give a talk on their experiences on officiating at Commonwealth Games, Worlds Championships and the  Blaydon Race
