1st VAANEE Track&Field Meet

Last Monday evening Heather Christopher and Helen Morris both competed in the above meeting at Monkton stadium.

3000m for ladies and men over 65

4th- Heather - 12:28 - 2nd over 40

6th- Helen - 12:35 - 2nd over 45

The race was won by Alison Dargie of Elswick harriers in 10:48

400m - ladies race.

6th - Heather - 77:6 - 2nd over 40

The race was again won by Alison Dargie in 66:5

The next meeting is on Monday 28th May at monkton stadium.

Events include: 1500m, 800m, 200m, 100m.,long jump, triple jump, shot, discus and javelin.

This is an opportunity to race against athletes in your own age categories.
