Summer Cup 2011

Congratulations to Andrea Scott, the overall winner of the 2011 Summer Cup with a low total score of 24 pts from the 11th, 1st, 5th and 7th placed finishes attained in the 4 races she competed in. Louise Rawlinson finished 6th in the last race to obtain 2nd place overall with 31 pts. In joint third place were Terry McCabe and Kevin Freeman, 6 pts adrift with a total of 37.

The team event saw Andrea winning again as part of her team, "Andrea and her Boys", with Dave Bradley, Dave Roberts, Adam Robinson, Dale Smith, and Steve Walker. The team achieved 3 wins, 1 third and 2 fifth place finishes for a total of 110 pts. In second place, on 92 pts, were "The Broons", who like the winners had 3 wins but lacked consistency in the other 3 races, and in third with 78 pts were "The Foxtrotters".

Many thanks to the organisers, marshals, timekeepers and helpers without whose time and effort the event couldn't take place.
