Loch ness Marathon 2009

[Mon 12th Oct 2009]  A fantastic time was spent in Inverness by all.  Great scenery, food, wine & weather.  Sunday's weather conditions were infact perfect, it was cool, sunny and with no breeze.  We were all very pleased as Saturday was typical English weather wet, windy and cold.  A very challenging but scenic course.  The views were spectacular from start to finish.  There were a few hick ups at the start of race day with the shuttle buses, which meant the race was delayed by a good 50 mins.  This was not good for our nerves and in my case (Susie) hunger, but being a strong confident team we recovered from this very quickly.

Very well ran by all runners especially those who chose this challenging course as their very first Marathon.
